During our stay at Kronohäktet, we reveled in the unique blend of history and modern comfort that this former sailors/officers prison turned accommodation offers. the experience of sleeping in a sailors' prison cell was both fascinating and comfortable, with high ceilings alleviating any sense of confinement. the well-kept shared bathrooms and communal kitchen added to the overall convenience and cleanliness of the space. As a family, we appreciated the family-friendly amenities provided. Our little ones especially enjoyed the entertainment room, where they could unwind after a day of exploring the nearby naval museum and historic sites. the proximity to the marine museum was a significant highlight for our family, making it easy to delve into Karlskrona's maritime history. The staff's friendliness and the inclusive atmosphere made us feel truly welcome. Exploring the archipelago on a boat tour and indulging in a delicious on-site breakfast together created lasting memories.
